Jeep Compass EV in the works; To be unveiled in November 2024

Apart from the Compass EV and Wagoneer S EV, the company is also working on a Wrangler-inspired Recon model

According to media reports, Jeep will finally be revealing the all-electric version of its popular mid-size SUV, the Compass.

The carmaker announced that the all-electric Compass SUV will be revealed sometime in November this year, before going on sale in the European market by 2025. The new Jeep Compass EV will be offered alongside mild-hybrid and PHEV powertrains, as part of the brand's "Freedom of Choice" strategy.

The upcoming Compass EV will be based on the STLA Medium Platform of its parent company, Stellantis. This platform offers 310 miles (500 km) of driving range with the standard pack, while the performance pack offers up to 435 miles (700 km) of range, as per the WLTP cycle.

The Compass EV will also get a "Trailhawk" trim, for those looking for the additional rugged option.

Jeep will introduce the Compass EV in Europe, ahead of its larger Wagoneer S sibling. The Jeep Wagoneer S EV sits on the 'STLA Large' platform and is expected to offer 600 BHP and "over 300 miles" of range on a single charge.

Apart from the Compass EV and Wagoneer S EV, the company is also working on a Wrangler-inspired Recon model - which will have removable doors and windows. There will also be the Renegade EV, which will come with a price tag of under $25,000.
