New Ford Mustang & Bronco branded e-bikes unveiled

The Mustang e-bike is priced at $4,000, while the Bronco e-bike costs $4,500.

N+, a cycling company, has teamed up with Ford to offer a pair of electric bikes inspired by the carmaker's Mustang and Bronco models. The officially licensed Mustang e-bike and Bronco e-bike celebrate the legacy of the two four-wheeler models.

The Ford Bronco e-bike comes with a full mono-shock suspension setup at the rear, a motorcycle-style single-piece seat and Bronco decals on the panels. The e-bike rides on Pirelli Scorpion Enduro M hardwall tyres with quad-piston hydraulic disc brakes. Other features include a colour LCD display built into the bar-mounted console and front and rear LED lights. The Bronco e-bike weighs in at 31 kg.

Coming to the Mustang e-bike, the large seat has been replaced with a conventional saddle. It gets Mustang decals on the side, with the pony badges. The Mustang e-bike also gets the recognisable triple-bar tail lights, as on the muscle car. Another change is that the Mustang e-bike runs on Pirelli Angel GT semi-slick tyres.

Both e-bikes are said to be powered by a 750W hub motor, providing either 85 Nm or 125 Nm, and can reach a top speed of 45 km/h. They have a claimed range of 96 km on a single charge from their 720 Wh battery pack.

Tyler Hill, Global Brand Licensing Manager, Ford, stated, "These new e-bikes will allow more people to experience the adventurous spirit of a Bronco and the exhilaration of a Mustang from the moment they grip the handlebars."

The Mustang e-bike is priced at $4,000, while the Bronco e-bike costs $4,500. Customers can pay an additional $390 and choose from up to 10 other colour options.
