Volkswagen launches Vento Konekt Limited Edition

German carmaker, Volkswagen has launched the Vento Konekt, a limited edition version of the Vento sedan. The Konekt package is available on the Comfortline and Highline variants of the car.

The Vento Konekt is equipped with a Blaupunkt infotainment system with a 7-inch TFT touchscreen colour display, GPS navigation and hands-free and Bluetooth-enabled telephony. The system is integrated into the centre console and features the latest Igo-Navtech maps for navigation, USB connectivity and iPhone/iPod compatibility.

The Konekt package also includes a rear-seat entertainment system, which features an Android-powered, Bluetooth-enabled, 8-inch Blaupunkt tablet with 3G-compatibility, twin-SIM functionality and Wi-Fi capability. The tablet comes with an HD colour display and allows rear seat occupants to access 16 channels of live television, internet radio, weather updates, live stock market feeds and social media apps such as Facebook and Twitter. Occupants can use Google Maps for navigation, make video calls with a 3G data connection and even find the nearest Volkswagen dealer or service centre.

The Vento Konekt gets leatherette seat covers and 'Konekt' badging on the boot and the scuff plates.

Mechanically, the Konekt is identical to the regular Vento.
