Traded in my Vento for Rs 4.75 lakh & bought a 2023 Tiguan

I think I got a pretty good deal for the car at an on-road price of 34.6 lakhs.

BHPian SamGG recently shared this with other enthusiasts.

Hello BHPians,

I recently booked a 2023 manufactured Volkswagen Tiguan OBD2 in Onyx White. I think I got a pretty good deal for the car at an on-road price of 34.6 lakhs. This includes 4+1-year EW, 4-year SVP, and some accessories.

Also, I got a trade-in value of 4.75 lakhs (including an exchange bonus) for my 2016 Volkswagen Vento Highline DSG Diesel with 1.5 lakh kilometers on the odometer.

After considering the trade-in value, the net cost of the car for me amounted to 29.85 lakhs.

Is it a good Deal?

Here's what BHPian mathlesh had to say on the matter:

You got a very good deal on Taigun. The exchange price for Vento seems too good to me. I wish I get a similar exchange for my Vento

Here's what BHPian SamGG had to say on the matter:

Volkswagen has offered a 65k exchange bonus on the Tiguan that's why the trade-in value is 4.75 lakhs.

Meanwhile, on the Taigun and the Virtus, the exchange bonus is 10k.

The other factor contributing to the enhanced trade-in value was the replacement of the Mechatronic unit for the DSG system, which was performed by the service center of the dealership.

Here's what BHPian TheGearBox had to say on the matter:

The Tiguan for around 35 lakhs on-road sounds like a pretty good deal.

Under 30 lakh, even more so
