Lamborghini's sales success is because of "YOLO" effect, says CEO

CEO hopes this trend continues as the brand completes electrifying its entire model lineup.

Lamborghini has been raking up massive success in terms of vehicle sales in the global market. The Italian carmaker has completely sold out all its remaining Huracans and non-hybrid Urus SUVs while having even booked out the first two years of its Revuelto's production.

Speaking in an interview, company CEO Stephan Winkelmann attributed the brand's success to what he calls the "YOLO" effect (short for "You Only Live Once"). The company CEO stated that Lamborghini buyers aren't undeterred by any global crisis or geopolitical changes. In fact, he added that these factors further motivated them to purchase.

Winkelmann also stated how sales spiked during and after the COVID period and have continued to do so despite war and increased political & economic uncertainty throughout the world.

The CEO hopes this trend continues as the brand completes electrifying its entire model lineup. Lamborghini's latest unveil was the Temerario - a hybrid turbocharged V8-powered supercar which replaces the V10 Huracan.
