Hyundai recently revealed the Alcazar facelift for the Indian market. The SUV gets a heavily revised exterior, and to complement that, it has a redesigned interior.
Hyundai has just released an image of the Alcazar’s interior, and as expected it is heavily inspired by the new Creta. It will be offered in 6 and 7-seater configurations. The former gets captain seats in the second row with a folding armrest. The 7-seater variant has a seat tumble mechanism for easy ingress and egress to the third row. Hyundai also claims to have improved the seat cushioning and bolstering.
The Alcazar facelift comes with a dual-tone cabin in Noble Brown and Haze Navy. The dashboard layout is identical to the new Creta, with a dual-screen setup comprising a digital instrument cluster and a touchscreen infotainment system. The centre console houses a familiar automatic climate control module with a piano black surface. The Alcazar also gets the same 4-spoke steering wheel from the Creta, albeit with gloss black inserts.
On the outside, the new Alcazar features a bold new grille with H-shaped LED DRLs and quad-beam LED headlights. The SUV has a redesigned tailgate with new LED taillights and an LED light bar, a new rear bumper, new design 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and skid plates at both ends.
The Alcazar facelift will be offered with a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with a 6-speed manual and 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and a 1.5-litre diesel engine that will be offered with a choice of a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic.
