Citroen C3 now gets a 6-speed automatic option; Bookings open

Prices for the 2024 Citroen C3 start at Rs 6.16 lakh (ex-showroom).

Citroen recently introduced the updated C3 in the Indian market. The 2024 edition not only comes with new features but is also available with a 6-speed automatic gearbox.  

Bookings for the Citroen C3 Automatic are now open. However, the company hasn’t revealed the prices of the automatic variants yet. Deliveries will commence in September.

The C3 Automatic is powered by a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine that delivers 108 BHP @ 5,500 rpm and 205 Nm @ 1,750-2,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. This engine is also available with a 6-speed manual, however, in that case, peak torque is restricted to 190 Nm. 

The updated Citroen C3 has features like LED projector headlamps, auto-folding ORVMs, automatic climate control and a 7-inch digital instrument cluster. The car also gets a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, hill-start assist and 6 airbags.
