Thanks to Prabhanjan Tattar for sending these images in. Heartfelt gratitude for sharing it with other enthusiasts via this Team-BHP page!

Multiple heavily camouflaged test mules of a scooter were recently spotted on the outskirts of Bangalore. According to the person who spotted the test mules, it looked more like a Honda Dio.

Honda usually tests their upcoming products in the northern regions of India, where its factory is located. That said, the Japanese bike maker now has a sprawling manufacturing facility near Bangalore and these images were taken in the same vicinity.

The spy shots indicate that the new scooter will have a split rear grab handle, a V-shaped tail lamp cluster with separate, bike-like indicators mounted on the rear mud guard. It was also reported to have a front cowl-mounted headlamp like the Dio. Besides this, it has been rumoured that it might be a 125cc version of the Dio which could use the upgraded engine from the Activa 125.

Details about this mystery scooter are scarce and we will have to wait to confirm its identity. Meanwhile, Honda hasn't made any announcement about an upcoming scooter.
