Mini Cooper S 3-Door launched at Rs 44.90 lakh

Deliveries of the Mini Cooper S will commence in September.

Mini has launched the new Cooper S hatchback in India with prices starting at Rs 44.90 lakh (ex-showroom).

The new Cooper S retains the unmistakable design that the brand is known for. The new 3-door features circular LED headlamps and a reprofiled front grille. It gets an updated rear fascia with triangular LED taillights and a floating roofline as its predecessor.

Mini has also made a few changes to the interior of the Cooper S. It has a more minimalistic design with a large circular touchscreen in the centre. It also displays the instrument cluster.

Powering the Mini Cooper S is a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 201 BHP and 300 Nm. The engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Mini claims the Cooper S can sprint from 0-100 km/h in 6.6 seconds.

Deliveries of the Mini Cooper S will commence in September.
