Russia: Next-gen VW Vento (Polo sedan) official sketches

Volkswagen has revealed design sketches of the next generation Vento for the Russian market, where it is sold as the Polo sedan.

The new Polo sedan features an updated front end with a new grille that has chrome inserts. The grille is flanked by twin-pods headlights. The front bumper has a wide air dam and triangular vents on either side. At the rear, the car has twin-pod wraparound tail lights and bumper with integrated exhaust tips. The car also has dual-tone alloy wheels.

On the inside, the Polo sedan is likely to get a new dashboard with a floating touchscreen infotainment head-unit, 3-spoke multi-function steering wheel and a digital instrument cluster.

In India, the next generation Vento will be based on the MQB A0 IN platform.
