Porsche Panamera GTS priced at Rs 2.34 crore in India

The new Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid is the most powerful Panamera ever.

Porsche has unveiled two top-spec variants of the Panamera: the GTS and Turbo S E-Hybrid. Both variants are powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8, with the latter getting an additional hybrid boost. Currently, Porsche has the GTS variant listed on its Indian website, priced at Rs 2,33,60,000 (ex-showroom).

Porsche claims the new Panamera GTS is a direct and agile variant of the top-class sports saloon. The car's dynamics are complimented by the SportDesign package and sporty interior. The V8 biturbo engine has been upgraded, offering linear power delivery, which is noticeable above 6,000 rpm.

The 4.0-litre V8 twin-turbo engine produces 493 BHP, which is 20 BHP more than its processor. As a result, the Panamera GTS can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and has a top speed of 302 km/h.

The Panamera GTS comes equipped with a sports exhaust system, which is standard. It also has dual-chamber 2-valve air suspension with PASM, a 10 mm lower body with stiffer anti-roll bars, a lower basic spring rate and an electronically controlled PTV Plus differential lock.

The new Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid is the most powerful Panamera ever. It comes with a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 591 BHP. It is paired with a 187 BHP electric motor integrated into the PDK gearbox for a combined output of 771 BHP and 1000 Nm.

Porsche claims the Turbo S E-Hybrid can sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds and has a top speed of 325 km/h. It packs a 25.9 kWh battery pack, which gives it an electric-only range of up to 88 km.
