The Scram 411 is a toned-down version of the Himalayan.

Details of the upcoming Royal Enfield Scram 411 have been revealed thanks to a leaked brochure.

The Scram 411 is a toned-down version of the Himalayan. While the latter is a hardcore adventure bike, the Scram 411 is aimed for regular use. The bike gets a round headlamp sans the windshield. The stepped seat and fuel tank has been carried over unchanged, along with the handlebars and an upswept exhaust. It also gets a more conventional front mudguard.

One of the major changes on the Scram 411 is the smaller 19-inch spoked front wheel, instead of the 21-inch rim. However, the bike retains the dual-purpose tyres from the Himalayan.

A semi-digital instrument cluster, dual-channel ABS, an aluminium sump guard and a ground clearance of 200 mm are some of the other highlights of the bike.

The Scram 411 will be powered by the same 411cc single-cylinder engine that powers the Himalayan. It produces 24.3 BHP and 32 Nm and comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
