Royal Enfield Classic 350 Bobber spied; New details revealed

Royal Enfield will offer an optional pillion seat that can be removed when not required.

Royal Enfield is working on a new Bobber-style motorcycle based on the J-platform. The Classic 350 Bobber had been spotted testing earlier, but a new spy image has revealed new details.

The Classic 350 Bobber will get a raised U-shaped handlebar that is typical of bobbers, a redesigned rear fender and wire-spoke wheels shod with retro-style white wall tyres.

The Classic 350 Bobber is essentially a single-seat bike. However, Royal Enfield will offer an optional pillion seat that can be removed when not required.

The upcoming Classic 350 Bobber will be powered by the familiar 349cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine. This unit puts out 20.2 BHP @ 6,100 rpm and 27 Nm @ 4,000 rpm. The engine will be paired with a 5-speed gearbox.

The suspension setup on the Classic 350 Bobber looks fairly standard too. It has a telescopic fork at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. The brake setup consists of disc brakes at both ends.
