Mahindra XUV700 price cut; low & mid-spec trims get cheaper

Prices of both petrol and diesel variants have been reduced by up to Rs 70,000.

Last month, Mahindra reduced the prices of the top-spec variants of the XUV700 by more than Rs 2 lakh. Now, the carmaker has slashed the prices of the low and mid-spec trims as well.

Prices of the AX3 Diesel AT 7-seater and AX5 Diesel AT 5-seater have been reduced by Rs 20,000, while the AX5 Diesel AT 7-seater now costs Rs 20.39 lakh, which is Rs 70,000 less than before. The price of the AX5 Diesel MT 7-seater has been reduced by Rs 50,000.

Mahindra has also revised the prices of the petrol variants. The AX5 Petrol MT 7-seater and AX5 Petrol MT 7-seater with ESP receive a price cut of Rs 50,000.

The XUV700 comes with two engine options. These include a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 197 BHP and 380 Nm and a 2.2-litre diesel that puts out 182 BHP and 450 Nm. Both engines come with a choice of either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Select variants get all-wheel drive.
