Nissan joins hands with MyTVS to strengthen service network

Nissan has entered a strategic partnership with MyTVS in order to strengthen its service network in the country. MyTVS is a fully-owned subsidiary of TVS Automobile Solutions, and is a part of the TVS Group. Under this partnership, Nissan will be using the MyTVS service network to provide necessary after-sales solutions to its customers.

Together, Nissan and TVS will open 8 Nissan Authorised Service Points (NASP) in Tamil Nadu. These service points will be an addition to the 23 dealer and service outlets that the automaker already has in the state. They will be offering service and repair solutions to the customers. This includes genuine parts, replacement of consumable service parts (such as oil filters and brake pads), and trained staff. Nissan and MyTVS will be opening several such NASPs through India in due course of time.

Nissan hopes that this service network will help the recently launched Datsun Redi-Go to attract more customers. The Redi-Go competes in the entry-level hatchback segment.

Nissan claims that it is planning to increase its number of dealerships to 300 dealerships by the year 2017.
