Mercedes-Benz launches the ML 63 AMG & AMG Performance Center

Mercedes-Benz India today inaugurated India’s first AMG Performance Center in Delhi at T & T Motors. They also launched their performance SUV - the ML 63 AMG priced at Rs. 1.49 crores ex-showroom Delhi. AMG Performance Centers will be launched in Delhi, Bangalore and Mumbai in three consecutive days.

At the AMG Performance Center, AMG sales and service experts ensure personalized service at every touch-point throughout the customer relationship. The 'AMG Private Lounge' is an online community designed exclusive for AMG owners to interact and benefit from the knowledge of other AMG owners worldwide. Other highlights of engagement include lifestyle events and driver training courses all over the world.

The ML 63 AMG is powered by a 5.5-litre V8 biturbo engine, developing peak output of 410 kW* and maximum torque of 760 Nm* mated to the AMG SPEEDSHIFT PLUS 7G-TRONIC automatic transmission. Mercedes-AMG deploys a specially designed transfer case for the 4MATIC permanent all-wheel drive, which distributes the drive power to the front and rear axle at a ratio of 40:60. The SUV also gets the AMG RIDE CONTROL sports suspension with AIRMATIC package - consisting of air suspension, special damper struts, automatic level control and Adaptive Damping System (ADS); combined with the ACTIVE CURVE SYSTEM for active roll stabilisation. Other features include an electromechanical AMG speed-sensitive sports steering, 5-spoke light-alloy wheels fit with 265/45/R20 tyres. The ML 63 AMG manages the 0-100 km/h sprint in 4.7 seconds and its top speed is 250 km/h (electronically limited).

On the exterior, it gets the typical upright ML Class radiator grille, bottom air intake take the form of typical AMG styling, front apron with AMG specific LED daytime driving lights and some more enhancements. On the interior one will get electrically adjustable AMG sports seats covered in Designo leather, AMG badges on the front and rear seat backrests, AMG Performance 4-spoke steering wheel in nappa leather, ambient lighting in three different colours (white, amber & blue). The ML 63 AMG features two 20.3 cm displays, 830 Watts Harman Kardon Logic 7 surround sound system with 14 speakers, wireless headphones and 2 infrared remote controls.
