Hyundai Creta EV based on facelifted version spied

The Creta EV will rival the upcoming Tata Curvv and Maruti Suzuki eVX

New images of the Hyundai Creta EV have surfaced online. Unlike the test mules seen earlier, this one is based on the facelift version that was introduced earlier this month.

The spy images suggest the Creta EV will feature a similar exterior design as the ICE version. The new front fascia with its L-shaped LED DRLs is clearly visible in these images. That being said, the electric version is likely to get a blanked-out grille and aero-optimised dual-tone alloy wheels.

While the interior of the Creta EV is not visible in these spy images, we can expect it to be similar to its ICE counterpart. The SUV could get the same dashboard with its sleek dual-screen setup.

Technical details of the Creta EV are still under wraps. However, reports suggest that it could be powered by a 45 kWh battery pack and a front-mounted electric motor borrowed from the last-gen Kona EV.
