Hyundai Alcazar facelift reaches dealer yard ahead of launch

The Alcazar will be available in 6 and 7-seater configurations.

Hyundai has started dispatching the Alcazar facelift to dealerships across India. The SUV will be launched next month and pre-bookings are already open.

The Alcazar facelift gets a redesigned front fascia that includes a new grille, silver inserts on the bumper and H-shaped LED DRLs with an LED light bar. The SUV rides on new design 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. The car spotted at the stockyard appears to have a dark blue exterior.

Inside, the updated Alcazar is likely to get an all-new dashboard similar to its 5-seater cousin, the Creta. It could be equipped with dual 10.25-inch screens for the infotainment system and digital instrument cluster, dual-zone automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, and ADAS.

The Alcazar facelift will be offered with a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with a 6-speed manual and 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and a 1.5-litre diesel engine that will be offered with a choice of a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic.

The Alcazar will be available in 6 and 7-seater configurations. It will compete with the Tata Safari and MG Hector Plus in the Indian market.
