What are your favorite things to do on Team-BHP?

This might seem like a weird question, but personally I love to do one thing more than anything else.

BHPian JunkyardHunter recently shared this with other enthusiasts.

This might seem like a weird question, but what is your favorite thing to do on Team-BHP? Personally, I love to do one thing more than anything else -

Reading old threads Whether it be reviews or opinions or a multi-page thread on a court battle with Skoda India, I just love reading old threads. It gives me a nice glimpse of the automotive world in India at that point in time, and it's fascinating.

Looking forward to hearing your responses!

Here's what GTO had to say on the matter:

My crème de la crème on Team-BHP:

  • Reading the shortlisting, buying & showroom experience in new car posts. This is my favourite read on Team-BHP = how BHPians shortlisted cars, their test-drive experiences, how they review the dealership & sales advisor, why they chose the variant they did...so many times, I read just the buying experience and don't even move on to the review!
  • Reading as well as Posting on Team-BHP. The different perspectives and opinions are truly fascinating. Reading posts is my learning experience, Posting is my sharing experience.
  • Post-launch analysis = what BHPians think of the new car's pricing, variants & positioning.
  • Some Shifting Gears threads are my favourite! Stuff on fitness, the IT industry, investments, online shopping, etc.

I usually read long posts & threads on Team-BHP with my lunch & dinner. Eating & Reading are two things that go indelibly well together, and mealtime is the only time I get to read detailed long-form threads, analysis & market trends on Team-BHP.

Here's what BHPian self_driven had to say on the matter:

Travelogues, even though reading user accounts and going through scenery isn't my thing

Team-BHP travelogues have their own charm, where more often than not the story revolves around how the car was prepped, how it performed, where it was parked for the night, whether or not it started the next day, and so on. Each story is essentially an enthusiast's POV on travel, which makes me feel like a part of the journey. I really love that.

Plus they never get old. Decade-old threads are equally mesmerising as the recent ones. As I type this, I have this (In Search of the Haunted Bungalow at Bonacaud, Trivandrum) 13-year-old thread open on my laptop.

Here's what BHPian balajimurugaiya had to say on the matter:

Reading threads of comprehensive long-term ownership reviews/experience of buying used cars is something I love doing here. This kind of content is very unique to Team bhp and is quite fun for the everyday enthusiast.
