Volkswagen Taigun & Virtus Onam Editions launched

The Taigun and Virtus Onam Editions are only available with the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine.

Volkswagen is celebrating the festival of Onam with a special edition Taigun and Virtus. The Taigun and Virtus Onam Editions are priced from Rs 14.08 lakh and Rs 13.57 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively.

The Onam Editions will be only available in Kerala and production will be limited to 100 units each. Both models have an all-black exterior and get additional features like front parking sensors, a dual-tone horn and puddle lamps.

The Taigun Onam Edition is based on the GT Line variant. It gets 17-inch ‘Cassino’ alloy wheels and an electric sunroof. The Virtus, on the other hand, is based on the Highline trim. Both cars get a 10-inch touchscreen, an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats and automatic climate control.

The Taigun and Virtus Onam Editions are only available with the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine. This engine produces 113 BHP and 178 Nm and is paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic.
