Tata Motors to debut a new electric car on April 29

Whether it's the Altroz EV or the upgraded Nexon EV, we will find out on April 29.

Having unveiled the Curvv electric SUV concept, Tata Motors is now gearing up to debut a new all-electric model on April 29, 2022.

Tata Motors hasn't shared any details of the upcoming model, except for the fact that it will be a "global unveil", which suggests that it could be a brand-new model.

If we were to speculate, Tata could be looking at showcasing the production version of the Altroz EV. The electric hatchback could use the same Ziptron powertrain as the Nexon EV and Tigor EV, offering a range of around 300 km on a single charge.

Tata Motors is also working on a long-range version of the Nexon EV. The electric SUV is expected to get a 40 kWh battery pack offering more than 400 km of range. It could also get a more powerful 6.6 kW AC charger.

Whether it's the Altroz EV or the upgraded Nexon EV, we will find out on April 29.
