Tata Hexa Downtown Urban Edition revealed

Earlier this month, we posted the first spy images of the Hexa limited edition. Tata Motors has now revealed the Hexa Downtown Urban Edition. It adds new features and cosmetic updates to all the existing variants.

Recent spy images had indicated that the Hexa Downtown Urban Edition would get a new bronze exterior colour option. The new shade is called Urban Bronze. Tata offers two packages on all the variants called as the Absolute and Indulge. 

The Absolute package adds tan seat covers, while the Indulge package adds 16-inch alloy wheels on the XE, XM and XMA variants. The top-end XT and XTA variants get two Blaupunkt 10.1-inch screens for rear passengers and a head-up display with a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System as part of the Indulge package.

In addition to these, both packages include chrome trims around headlamps and tail lights, along the side and on ORVM housings. These also come with Downtown badges and side steps. Inside, the special editions get wireless smartphone charging, a carpet set and a car care kit.

The special edition will continue to use the same 2.2-litre, 4-cylinder diesel which is offered in two states on tune - 148 BHP / 320 Nm and 154 BHP / 400 Nm. The base variant comes with a 5-speed manual gearbox, while the XM and XT get an optional 6-speed automatic. All-wheel drive is only available on the XT variant.
