Tata Altroz: Leaked video reveals more details

A leaked video of the Tata Altroz has revealed new details of the upcoming hatchback.

The video shows a top view of the Altroz with the front doors open to almost 90-degree angles. The interior shot of the car reveals the Altroz's dashboard layout with blue ambient lighting. The centre console houses a floating touchscreen infotainment system. A closer look at the screen reveals an ambient lighting icon. It might also get a Google-based voice command system.

The video also reveals that the car has a 3-spoke, multi-function steering wheel. In addition to the usual audio and phone controls, it also has a cruise control button. The instrument cluster is similar to the Harrier's. It has a digital screen on the left and an analogue speedometer on the right-hand side.

The Tata Altroz is expected to be offered with 1.2-litre petrol and turbocharged petrol engines mated to manual gearboxes. Tata might also add a 1.5-litre diesel and an automatic transmission option later.
