Suzuki Motorcycle has announced the start of production of its first electric scooter, the e-Access. It is being manufactured at the company's Gurgaon plant.
The Suzuki e-Access was first showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Based on the same underpinnings as the Access 125, the e-scooter features a distinct design with a rectangular LED headlamp, a vertical LED DRL strip and a 4.2-inch digital instrument console with smartphone connectivity.
The Suzuki e-Access comes with a 3.07 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery that is said to offer a maximum range of 95 km on a single charge. It can be charged in 6 hours 20 minutes using a portable charger and 2 hours 12 minutes using a DC fast charger.
The e-Access is propelled using a 4.1 kW electric motor and a maintenance-free belt drive system. It enables the e-scooter to reach a top speed of 71 km/h.
The e-Access comes with features like regenerative braking, a combined brake system, a keyless system, 17 litres of underseat storage, a USB port, and four riding modes: Eco, Ride mode A, Ride mode B and Reverse.
