Suzuki Motorcycle recently commenced production of its first electric scooter, the e-Access, at its Gurgaon plant. It has now been confirmed that the e-Access will go on sale in June 2025.
The Suzuki e-Access made its public debut at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. It will compete with the Bajaj Chetak, TVS iQube, Ather Rizta and the Ola S1.
The Suzuki e-Access comes with a 3.07 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery that is said to offer a maximum range of 95 km on a single charge. It uses a 4.1 kW electric motor that can propel the e-scooter to a top speed of 71 km/h. The battery can be charged in 6 hours 20 minutes using a portable charger and 2 hours 12 minutes using a DC fast charger.
The e-Access has a distinct design with a rectangular LED headlamp, a vertical LED DRL strip and a 4.2-inch digital instrument console with smartphone connectivity. It also has features like regenerative braking, a combined brake system, a keyless system, 17 litres of underseat storage, a USB port, and four riding modes: Eco, Ride mode A, Ride mode B and Reverse.
