Electric KTM Duke showcased at Motohall in Austria

The KTM E-Duke has an aggressive design reminiscent of the 390 Duke.

It’s been three years since KTM announced that it was working on an electric version of the Duke. Now for the first time, a prototype of the KTM E-Duke has been seen in public. The bike is on display at the KTM HQ in Austria.

The KTM E-Duke, just like its ICE counterpart, has an aggressive design reminiscent of the 390 Duke. It has a single projector headlamp, a flat-ish handlebar with a tiny digital dash, and a stepped seat with a narrow tail section.

The E-Duke appears to be based on a modified 390 Duke chassis. It is equipped with a USD fork in the front and a mono-shock in the rear. The battery appears to be mounted low down in the chassis. The alloy wheels are similar to those on the 390 Duke. The bike has a chain final drive and disc brakes at both ends.

This KTM E-Duke seems to be an early prototype/concept. The exact technical specifications are not available at this point.
