Nissan Magnite now available with CNG retrofitment kit

The CNG kit is available only on the 1.0L Manual version of the Magnite.

Nissan has introduced a CNG retrofitment kit for the Magnite. It will be available at an additional price of Rs 74,999.

The CNG kit has been developed and manufactured by Motozen as per regulatory standards and comes with a 3-year / 1 lakh km warranty. The fitment of these kits will be carried out at government-authorised vendors.

The CNG retrofitment kit will be available with the 1.0L naturally aspirated petrol engine with the manual gearbox. Customers can order the CNG kit installation via authorised Nissan dealerships.

According to sources, the (i-CAT) BS 6.2 compliant kit was developed specifically for the Magnite. It delivers a mileage of 24 km/kg in the city and 30 km/kg on the highway. The kit includes a 7 mm reinforced single casting cylinder, an auto cut-off valve, a fire extinguisher, and an advancer to optimize performance and minimize lag.

The CNG kit will be introduced across India in a phased manner, starting with Delhi-NCR, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Kerala, and Karnataka as part of Phase 1.
