Mercedes-Benz is all set to launch a new “India inspired” AMG G63 ‘Collector’s Edition’ on June 12.
According to Mercedes, the new G-Class ‘Collector’s Edition’ is designed as a tribute to the rich Indian tapestry and landscape. While the exact details haven’t been revealed, we can expect the SUV to be available in a special exterior colour, unique interior upholstery along with bespoke trim with an Indian theme.
The Mercedes-AMG G63 Collector’s Edition will be powered by a 4.0-litre, twin-turbo V8 engine. This mild-hybrid unit delivers 577 BHP and 850 Nm and is paired with a 9-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox and a 4Matic four-wheel drive system.
The ‘India inspired’ AMG G63 will be offered in limited numbers and will most likely cost more than the standard G63.
