Next-gen Hyundai Venue spied for the first time

The next-gen Venue could borrow design cues from other models like the Creta and Alcazar.

Hyundai is working on the next-generation Venue for the global markets. The compact SUV was recently spotted testing for the first time in its home market of South Korea.

Looking at the spy images, it appears that the new-gen Venue will have a similar shape as the outgoing model and is likely to borrow design elements from other models like the Creta and Alcazar. The car also appears to have a split headlamp setup with a large grille in the centre, while the rear features a new set of LED tail lights.

The spy images also reveal parts of the interior. However, only the seats are visible, while the dashboard, which might get a new look, has been covered. The seats, though, are wrapped in leather upholstery and have an armrest in the centre.

The next-gen Venue could retain the same set of engines as the current model. These include a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol, 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The new compact SUV might also be offered with ADAS.
