Mahindra Thar Roxx bookings open in India

The Thar 5-door is available in 4x2 and 4x4 variants, with prices starting at Rs 12.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

Mahindra has officially opened the bookings for the Thar Roxx. The 5-door version of the Thar is available in 4x2 and 4x4 variants, with prices starting at Rs 12.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Thar Roxx was unveiled on August 15. At the time, Mahindra announced the prices for the base petrol and diesel variants. The Thar Roxx 4x2 is available in MX1, MX3, MX5, AX3L, AX5L, and AX7L variants, while the 4x4 version comes in MX5, AX5L, and AX7L trims.

The Thar Roxx 4x2 is available with a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that makes 160 BHP and 330 Nm and a 2.0-litre diesel that puts out 150 BHP and 330 Nm. Both engines are paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox.

The Thar Roxx 4x4 is powered by a 2.2-litre diesel engine, which comes in two states of tune. The 6-speed manual variants pack 150 BHP and 300 Nm, and the 6-speed automatic variants have 172 BHP and 370 Nm.
