Nissan Magnite facelift images leaked ahead of launch

The Magnite facelift will be launched on October 4, with deliveries commencing a day later.

Nissan is all set to introduce the updated Magnite later this week. Images of the facelift version have leaked online just a day ahead of its launch.

The Magnite facelift features a new front grille with chrome inserts on either side, sharp-looking LED headlamps with L-shaped LED DRLs, and a redesigned front bumper.

The overall shape of the rear looks familiar, except for the smoked taillights, which are new. It has the Nissan logo and the ‘Magnite’ badge in the centre, while the rear bumper has a silver insert. Moreover, the bronze exterior colour is also new to the Magnite.

The updated Magnite has a dual-tone interior in brown and black. The dashboard has a clean design with hexagonal air-con vents and a large touchscreen infotainment system in the centre. It has a 3-spoke steering wheel with gloss black inserts and a front centre armrest.

The Magnite facelift is expected to be offered with the same set of engines as the current model. It includes a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder petrol and a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol unit. The naturally aspirated engine is available with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT, while the turbocharged engine gets a 5-speed manual and CVT option.
