The Hyundai Venue is scheduled to make its global debut at the New York Auto Show later this week. Details of the India-spec Venue have already surfaced online.

In India, the Hyundai Venue is likely to come in four variants - E, S, SX, and SX(O). It is said that the compact SUV will have a ground clearance of around 200 mm (unladen) and is likely to offer around 360 litres of luggage space.

The Venue has a split headlamp setup with the slim lights on the top housing the pilot lamps and turn signals. The car is likely to come with rain sensing wipers.

Inside, the rear seats are expected to get three adjustable headrests and a centre armrest with storage. A front centre armrest might be offered on SX and SX(O) trims. Further, the car is expected to come with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Bluelink tech and i-Smart IRVM. Features such as wireless charging and ventilated front seats are also likely to be offered on the top variant.

The Hyundai Venue could be offered with 1.4-litre petrol and diesel engines as well as a 1.0-litre petrol mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The latter is expected to be available only in the SX(O) trim. Fuel efficiency figures are said to be around 18 km/l for the 1.4-litre petrol, 16.5 km/l for the 1.0-litre petrol and around 22 km/l for the diesel. ESC could be offered as standard while Hill-hold assist could be offered on the top two variants.

The Hyundai Venue is expected to get 7 exterior colour options - Polar White, Typhoon Silver, Marina Blue, Passion Orange, Fiery Red, Stardust & Phantom Black. Additionally, the car could also get at least two dual-tone colour options.

The base variant could start at around Rs. 8.09 lakh while the SX(O) diesel could be priced at Rs. 12.19 lakh. The variant with the 1.0-litre petrol engine could be priced at around Rs. 12 lakh.
