Mahindra Thar Roxx 4x4 prices start at Rs 18.79 lakh

The Thar Roxx 4x4 is only available with a 2.2-litre diesel engine paired with either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic.

Mahindra has revealed the prices for the 4x4 variants of the Thar Roxx. The SUV is priced at Rs 18.79 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings will open on October 3, 2024.

Mahindra launched the Thar Roxx, the 5-door version of the Thar, on August 14. At launch, the carmaker had only revealed the prices of the base petrol and diesel variants.

The Thar Roxx 4x4 is available in four variants – MX5 MT, AX5L AT, AX7L MT, and AX7L AT. The SUV is powered by a 2.2-litre diesel engine, which comes in two states of tune. The 6-speed manual variants pack 150 BHP and 300 Nm, and the 6-speed automatic variants have 172 BHP and 370 Nm.

The Thar Roxx 4x4 is equipped with Mahindra’s 4XPLOR System, which comprises an electronic locking differential and a low-ratio transfer case. The SUV also gets CrawlSmart Assist, which offers precise low-speed control, and IntelliTurn, which is said to improve manoeuvrability. It has three Terrain Modes – Snow, Sand and Mud, and two Drive Modes – Zip and Zoom.
