For the production of the SUV, Jeep is likely to use Fiat's Ranjangaon plant where a new manufacturing line will be set up.

Apart from the SUV, Fiat is working on an all-new modular 326 platform which will be used to underpin new products which will replace the slow-selling Punto and Linea over the next 2-3 years. The Jeep Wrangler and Cherokee are also expected to be launched in sometime 2015.
