Hyundai opens Global Quality And Training Centre in Faridabad

Hyundai Motor India has inaugurated its Global Quality and Training Centre in Faridabad, Haryana. Named the India Quality Centre (INQC), this new establishment is one of Hyundai's 5 quality centres across the globe. The INQC will be aimed at developing and producing vehicles with zero defects for the Indian market.

The centre in Faridabad is equipped with diagnostic and R&D tools which can be used for the examination and study of vehicle communications and complete engine diagnosis. The centre will be aimed at studying each product from its initial pilot stages to the final market launch. It will also check pilot stage cars on a regular basis for both, Static and Dynamic tests. Hyundai claims that these practices will ensure the development of higher quality products for the market. The India Quality Centre (INQC) also has a body & paint training centre which will be used to enhance quality of paint finish on Hyundai cars.

Hyundai currently has 6 training centres across India. It further plans to open to more centres in Guwahati and Ahmadabad. Through these training centres, the company is targeting to train more than 10,000 dealer staff this year. Hyundai is also planning to enhance its tie-up with various Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs), one in each state. This will help in generation of skilled manpower for the automotive sector.
