Honda Unicorn 160 spied ahead of launch

Multiple images of the Honda Unicorn 160 have been shared on Team-BHP's forums by bhpian dreamseller. We'd like to thank him for sharing these images with other enthusiasts!

The styling on the new Unicorn evidently draws inspiration from the Honda CB Trigger. Recent reports suggest that Honda may launch their new 160cc offering this month or in December 2014. The images appear to have been taken at a Honda service point and dealer dispatches may already be in full swing.

Tangible updates on the Honda Unicorn 160 seen in the images, include a new "H" shaped tail light, grey pillion grab rail and a more muscular fuel tank. The motorcycle will get a digital instrument cluster, while the handlebar and switchgear seem to have been taken of the CB Trigger.

The current Honda CB Unicorn is still quite popular among family oriented buyers. Dealers report waiting periods of 2-3 months. The model is currently priced at around Rs 75,096 on-road Mumbai. The Unicorn has been long overdue for a refresh as the design has aged. With the Unicorn 160, Honda may be trying to offer a more sporty design to attract younger buyers.
