Honda has launched the Rebel 500 in India. The cruiser-style bike is priced at Rs 5.12 lakh (ex-showroom). Deliveries will begin in June 2025.
The Honda Rebel has a classic cruiser design with a low-slung seat, high-mounted fuel tank, and wide handlebars. It has a circular headlamp and a single-pod instrument console. The bike is available in a single Matt Gunpowder Black Metallic colour scheme.
Powering the Rebel 500 is a 471cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that produces 45.59 BHP @ 8,500 rpm and 43.3 Nm @ 6,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
The suspension setup on the Rebel 500 comprises a conventional telescopic front fork and dual shock absorbers in the rear. Braking is handled by a single 296 mm disc in the front and a 240 mm disc in the rear, supported by dual-channel ABS.
