Honda has launched the E-Clutch variants of the CBR650R and CB650R. The fully-faired CBR650R is priced at Rs 10.40 lakh, while the naked version costs Rs 9.60 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Honda CBR650R and CB650R are powered by the same 648cc, inline 4-cylinder engine that produces 94 BHP @ 12,000 rpm and 63 Nm @ 9,500 rpm. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox via Honda's new E-Clutch, which eliminates the need to use the clutch while shifting or when coming to a halt.
The E-Clutch variants are identical to the standard models, except the overall weight has gone up by 2.8 kg. Both bikes are equipped with a 41 mm Showa SFF-BP USD fork in the front and an adjustable mono-shock in the rear. Braking is handled by dual 310 mm discs in the front and a 240 mm rotor in the rear.
The CBR650R and CB650R come with a 5.0-inch colour TFT display with smartphone connectivity via the Honda RoadSync app, allowing access to calls, messages, and navigation through Bluetooth.
