JSW MG Motor India has increased the prices of the Comet EV and its flagship SUV, the Gloster.
The prices of MG Gloster have been revised by up to Rs 1.51 lakh. The SUV is now priced from Rs 41.07 lakh (ex-showroom).
Powering the Gloster is a 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel mill that puts out 215 BHP and 480 Nm. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
The price hike has been announced just weeks ahead of the launch of the MG Majestor, which will be positioned as the top-of-the-line variant of the Gloster.
MG has also increased the prices of the Comet EV. The micro-EV now starts at Rs 7.36 lakh, Rs 35,700 more than before. The price of the Excite variant has been raised by Rs 16,000, while the Excite FC trim costs Rs 4,000 more. All other variants get a uniform price hike of Rs 5,300.
