Citroen C5 Aircross to be unveiled on February 1, 2021

The C5 Aircross will be assembled in India using completely knocked down (CKD) kits.

Citroen is gearing up to enter the Indian market this year with the C5 Aircross. The SUV is scheduled to be unveiled on February 1, 2021.

The C5 Aircross is based on the PSA EMP2 platform. The SUV features funky styling with a split grille, chunky bumpers and body cladding with bright coloured inserts. Inside, it gets an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. The SUV also comes with a panoramic sunroof, hands-free tailgate, dual-zone automatic climate control and a powered driver's seat.

The C5 Aircross will be powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine producing 178 BHP and will be offered with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The SUV will be assembled using completely knocked down (CKD) kits at Citroen's Thiruvallur facility in Tamil Nadu.
