2015 Volvo S60 Cross Country revealed

Swedish car maker Volvo has officially taken the covers off the S60 Cross Country. In light of the rising crossover fad, Volvo has revealed the model that is essentially the same sedan, but features a ride height that has been increased by 65 mm.

Set to make its debut at the Detroit motor show this month, the S60 Cross Country will be offered with both 18” and 19” wheels with high profile tyres. Volvo says these tyres will add to the crossover's comfort and all-road aesthetics, reduce road noise, and increase wheel protection.

The S60 Cross Country will be launched with the T5 all-wheel drive power-train that delivers up to 250 bhp in the USA. Cars sold in Europe will deliver up to 254 bhp, while those in Russia will deliver 249 bhp (due to taxation policy). The S60 Cross Country will also be offered with front-wheel drive in Europe and a few other markets.
