WagonR-based electric car spied with Suzuki logo

The WagonR EV is expected to use a 72 V electric drive powered by a 10-25 kWh lithium-ion battery.

The WagonR-based electric hatchback has been spotted testing once again. This time, however, the car was seen sporting the Suzuki logo.

The first revealing images of the WagonR EV had surfaced online, earlier this month. But the badges on that car had been taped up in an attempt to conceal the brand. The same car is believed to be rebadged as a Toyota.

The WagonR EV looks similar to its IC engine counterpart, however, there are a few cosmetic differences. The electric version has a different front fascia that lacks a large grille. It has stacked headlamp clusters and circular fog lamps. The rear looks similar to the current generation WagonR except for the bumper. The Suzuki logo has a blue halo around it.

While we don't have the exact technical details of the WagonR EV, it is expected to use a 72 V electric drive powered by a 10-25 kWh lithium-ion battery pack.
