MG Gloster facelift interior revealed in new spy images

The Gloster facelift will be based on the latest Maxus D90 and that’s evident from the exterior design.

MG has been testing the Gloster facelift in India for some time now. The SUV was recently spotted yet again, this time, giving us a glimpse of its interior.

As the latest spy images indicate, the Gloster facelift is likely to feature a floating touchscreen infotainment system that looks larger than the one offered in the current model. The SUV also features a digital instrument cluster.

The Gloster facelift will be based on the latest Maxus D90 and that’s evident from the exterior design. The SUV has a bold and upright front fascia with a large grille and vertically stacked LED headlamps. It also gets what appears to be an LED light bar at the front.

The MG Gloster facelift is expected to be offered with the same set of engines as the outgoing version. These include a 2.0-litre diesel that puts out 161 BHP and 375 Nm and a 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel that makes 215 BHP and 480 nm. Both engines are paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

The updated Gloster will compete with the Toyota Fortuner, Skoda Kodiaq and Jeep Meridian in the Indian market.
