Volkswagen Polo R Cup India 2014 registrations open

Volkswagen Motorsport India has announced the opening of registrations for the Polo R Cup India for 2014.

The series, which is in its fifth season, is open to everyone from novices to experienced racers. For novices, the Polo R Cup can be used as an introduction to track racing before moving to other events. Others can use it to garner more experience before stepping into the international arena or looking at more challenging events.

Registrations for the Polo R Cup India 2014 are open till 15 February 2014. Forms can be obtained from the company’s website, www.volkswagen-motorsport.in and mailed to polocup@volkswagen.co.in after being duly filled. A driver selection programme will be held in March 2014, about which applicants will be intimated. Drivers will have to go through a series of challenges, which will test their consistency, talent, pace and willingness to learn, on the basis of which they will be selected. These tests will be conducted at the Kari Motor Speedway, Coimbatore.
