Tata Motors opens bookings for GenX Nano

Dealers have started accepting booking for the upcoming Tata GenX Nano. The booking amount is pegged at Rs. 5,000. The car is likely to be launched in the early part of May 2015.

The GenX Nano comes with a number of cosmetic changes such as a redesigned front and rear bumpers with wide honeycomb grilles, round front fog lamps, smoked headlamps and a new rear windshield. The car also gets an openable hatch and better boot space. Coming to the interiors, the car sports a new steering wheel. Equipment includes power steering, audio system with Bluetooth, USB and Aux-in connectivity.

The 624cc, twin-cylinder, petrol engine and 4-speed manual transmission from the current car has been carried over to the GenX Nano. The car will also be available with an automated manual transmission (AMT).

Colours options for the GenX Nano include Damson Purple, Sangriya Red, Royal Gold, Dazzle Blue, Pearl White, Meteor Silver and Persian Rose.
