ZoomCar launches service in Mumbai and Chennai

Self-drive car rental company ZoomCar, has started operations in Mumbai and Chennai.

In Mumbai, the company is offering a range of cars such as the Ford Figo, Honda City, Ford EcoSport, Mahindra Scorpio and XUV500. In Chennai, the Honda Amaze is added to the list. Cars can be hired on an hourly or daily basis.

Rates start at Rs. 80 per hour and include fuel, insurance, GPS, taxes, roadside assistance, towing and impounding caused by vehicle failure, routine maintenance and cleaning, 24-hour customer support . The tariff does not include tolls and road taxes, fines for traffic and parking violations, roadside assistance, towing and impounding caused by member errors and extra cleaning and car washing during member reservation. Members also have to pay for any damage caused and will be fined for violation ZoomCar rules.
