Tata Altroz images reveal new details

Tata Motors has updated the official website of the Altroz with more images that reveal new details of the upcoming hatchback.

The styling of the Altroz is based on Tata's Impact Design 2.0 philosophy. It is likely to get sweptback headlamps with a chrome insert along the lower edge. The car has gloss black ORVM housings with chrome trim and blacked out window frames. High-end variants are expected to be offered with diamond-cut alloy wheels. It also appears to have frameless wiper blades.

One of the images reveals the car's dual-tone interior. The air-conditioning vent has a chrome surround, while the interior door lock is also finished in chrome. The car showcased at the Geneva Motor Show had black interiors and a different set of alloy wheels.

The Altroz is expected to be powered by the 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine from the Nexon. It could be de-tuned to produce 92 BHP and 201 Nm of torque. It could get a petrol engine option sometime later.
