Skoda Auto VW India announces key leadership changes

Ashish Gupta replaces Petr Janeba as Brand Director of Skoda India.

Skoda Auto VW India has announced key leadership changes across both the Skoda and Volkswagen brands, effective May 1, 2025.

Ashish Gupta has been appointed as the Brand Director of Skoda India. He replaces Petr Janeba, who concludes his tenure and will be returning to Skoda Auto, Czech Republic.

Prior to his recent appointment, Ashish Gupta served as the Brand Director of Volkswagen Passenger Cars. He brings with him over two decades of automotive industry experience, including more than 12 years with the VW Group. In his new capacity, Ashish will focus on accelerating growth and expanding the network.

Nitin Kohli has been appointed as the Brand Director of Volkswagen Passenger Cars. Prior to this, he was responsible for Sales and Operations at Audi India. He has over 25 years of experience in automotive sales, including over 12 years with Skoda Auto Volkswagen India.
