Hyundai Exter gets new trims with sunroof priced under Rs 8 lakh

The new S Smart and SX Smart trims are available with both petrol and CNG powertrains.

Hyundai has launched new affordable variants of the Exter equipped with a sunroof and other features from higher trims. The new S Smart and SX Smart trims are available with both petrol and CNG powertrains, with prices starting at Rs 7.69 lakh and Rs 8.16 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively.

The S Smart variant is based on the S trim and comes equipped with a single-pane sunroof, LED DRLs, LED taillamps, TPMS, rear AC vents, and 15-inch steel wheels.

The SX Smart variant is based on the SX trim and gets features like keyless entry with engine start/stop button, projector headlamps, leatherette seat upholstery, and a shark fin antenna.

Both variants are offered with an optional 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and a rearview camera.

The Hyundai Exter is powered by a 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 82 BHP and 114 Nm. It is paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT. The CNG version makes 68 BHP and 95.2 Nm and is offered with a 5-speed manual transmission.
