Last week, a test mule of the Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 was spotted in Europe. Now, the Interceptor, believed to be powered by the new 750cc engine, has been spotted in India.
The upcoming Interceptor 750 is expected to be offered with an all-new 750cc, parallel-twin engine. The new unit is said to produce more power and torque compared to the current 648cc engine. It is likely to be paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
Apart from the new engine, the Interceptor 750 could also get a few design and feature updates. The test bike appears to have a redesigned exhaust system, a single-pod instrument console, and a new taillight.
The Interceptor 750 test bike has a telescopic front fork and dual shock absorbers at the rear. Brakes have also been beefed up, and the bike now features dual discs at the front with a single rotor at the rear.
